Valge is the second part of the Khrk trilogy.

It might sound cheesy, but this trilogy is based on my own experience being isolated in my house during the COVID-19 pandemics. Not that I wanted to explore the themes of isolation and solitude or whatever, just that my personal conditions currently have an effect on my music during this period.

As my girlfriend is currently pregnent, we minimize the contacts outdoor and as most of my musical instruments are in the practice space of my rock band En Fer, I have very few instruments to craft sounds during the isolation. So this is a good occasion to work on different sounds with very limited ressources.

While Must, the first part of the trilogy, goes more minimal, this second part is more all out analogue psych noise. For this second installment, I wanted to play more massive analogue Hypothermic Drone in the veins of my late 2000's stuff when I started to play with oscillators and mix it with the more all-out straight up I don't care what you think pysch zone approach I developped by playing with a psych band. So, yeah, the zone, nothing else...

This is, par le fait même, a big salute to my brothers in En Fer. We couldn't play these days, I miss playing GROS ROCK. Love you guys!

As mentioned on Must, this trilogy is dedicated to my cosmic twin Constantine Katsiris and my good old collaborator Roger H. Smith.
